They will get to connect with their family back home, visit the capital city of Kingston, and travel to the countryside of Oracabessa in Saint Mary Parish and Ocho Rios in Saint Ann Parish. Yikes! Activity
These speech, language, and literacy activities are recommended for use with preschool-aged children through fifth grade students after reading Yikes, I Saw a Barracuda. The activities will increase skills in children receiving speech/language therapy and students without disabilities. The provided practice pages are ideal for children with developmental language disorder (DLD), specific language impairment (SLI), specific learning disability (SLD), dyslexia, and/or autism. Additionally, the activities are great for children who are Deaf and/or hard of hearing to build essential skills. All children will benefit from practicing the skills, including bilingual learners and multilingual learners.
